European Emergency Circle

Our relationship with the World Health Organization

The EEC’s relationship with the World Health Organization is through the Emergency Medical Teams initiative and its partner platform. Our category is EMT Partner, identified by registration EURO-0038.

This engagement connects the EEC’s humanitarian education and emergency preparedness work with the international EMT community. Our focus is on developing people, strengthening team readiness and sharing knowledge for coordinated health emergency response.

EEC programmes and SIMOPS exercises bring these priorities into practical learning: role clarity, patient prioritisation, communication, logistics and decision-making under pressure.

Shared areas of focus

  • Emergency health preparedness
  • Team coordination and operational learning
  • Human factors and decisions under pressure
