EEC SIMOPS is an international operational simulation system developed by the European Emergency Circle to train professionals, teams and leaders to manage emergencies, disasters and complex humanitarian crises.
Through dynamic and realistic scenarios, participants are placed in simulated operations where they must make decisions under pressure, coordinate resources, manage incomplete information and respond to constantly evolving critical situations.
Unlike conventional training, EEC SIMOPS confronts participants with the consequences of their own decisions. Each choice can change the course of the operation, create new challenges and require immediate adaptation of the strategies adopted.
The system recreates challenges encountered in humanitarian operations and emergency response, including:
Each exercise is structured to develop operational skills, critical thinking, situational leadership and the ability to coordinate across institutions.
Participant performance is assessed through the quality of decisions, communication, risk management, adaptability and the operational results achieved.
EEC SIMOPS combines experiential learning, crisis simulation and human factors analysis within an international training environment.
The EEC participates in international platforms and civil-society networks related to emergency medical teams, disaster risk reduction and crime prevention.
